Sempre en davan!

... je serai assis dans mon vol pour la Réunion. 24h avant l'envol, j'ai enfin confirmation de mon vol. Ca a été assez compliqué. La personne en charge de mon dossier aurait été piquée par le chikungunya (ça ne me rassure pas cette histoire, étant donné que les deux îles que je vais visiter en compte des milliers).

Voilà ce que j'emmène à ma mère, qui vit à Mayotte depuis presque 3 ans:

Un peu de charcutaille catalane, car il est bien dur de trouver du porc dans une région musulmane...

Un peu de muguet cueilli dans mon jardin, en espérant qu'il arrive en bon état. J'emmène aussi des légumes frais.

La dernière (et unique) fois que je suis parti à Mayotte, j'étais assis à côté d'un monsieur qui prenait beaucoup de place. J'avais assez peu dormi. J'espère que cela se passera mieux cette fois ci.

Apres une escale de quelques heures, juste assez pour acheter du rhum blanc "Charette" en détaxe, je prendrai un autre vol pour Mayotte. Moins de 24h plus tard, j'ai droit à un baptême de plongée dans le plus grand lagon du monde. Ca me tarde, oh oui, ça me tarde!

Voilà le contenu de la valise que j'emmène avec moi ...

A part ça, j'ai profité de mon passage sur Paris pour passer un entretien dans une petite entreprise "intelligence e-business". J'ai battu tous mes records de durée d'entretien. Je suis arrivé ce matin à 11h15, et je suis reparti à 17h. C'est bon signe?

Je dis à bientôt à mes cravates préférées, toutes achetées à Londres, et à mes deux téléphones portables (j'ai quelques problèmes avec mes portables en ce moment).

Welcome to the new members!

Expat blog is an online multicultural community dedicated to expatriates and their adventures all around the world. The website is designed and developped by expatriates for expatriates. Why this project? Because we think we could exchange shortcuts, help a little bit each other and because it's much better to read an expat blog than a travel brochure when you want to discover life in a foreign country.

Everybody can contribute to the project, and help others by typing small articles on the resources/wiki or by answering to questions on the forum.

You think we should develop new features or integrate existing tools (such as a FAQ section or a currency converter for example), because it would be really usefull or just pretty cool ... please let us know!

We're thinking about improving a lot of things in the next months, and we're interested in your ideas an your point of view.

One new feature on the forum

Several active members asked on the forum how to get a signature with small flags, that would show they route. We thought it would be a pretty cool feature, and we've prepared a first prototype of a signature generator, that you'll find here. We hope you'll like it! Do not hesitate to say what you think about it on the forum.
